Maya Maybe I'm just a dreamer... But I believe I can soar...
There was a distinct feeling of moisture in the air, and anyone could predict the coming rain. Focusing on the ground in front of me, I used my ability as an earth wolf to raise steps in front of me so I could reach the top of the old castle ruins. I approached the tower, leaping from each step I had created, and finally onto the top. I turned and glanced at the rocky stairs, and withing seconds, they were gone, back into the earth. Some had told me that this ability was a curse, that no one wolf should have the power to do what I could. But every earth wolf could. I was just lucky to be one.
'If there's a whim, there's a way'. The phrase presented itself in my mind as I climbed to the summit of the tower's shoddy roof, and turned to gaze at what was left of this once grand man-made castle of rock. A sigh escaped me and I laid down, wondering if anyone else had ventured to where I was at this moment. Had anyone seen this gorgeous, sunset enhanced view that I was staring at right now? I felt a drop of water hit my nose and I looked up. The clouds were opening up, and rain started to fall. I closed my eyes and let the rain soak my dark brown fur, turning it even darker with the water. After a moment, I stood, shook the rain from my fur, and lept from the tower. The ground opened beneath me, and a pillar of rock shot from the ground and I landed on it. I jumped again, and another appeared while the first crumbled and fell to the ground. I continued the pattern until I was safely on the ground.
The rain stung my eyes as I ran from the castle ruins and into a patch of blueberries nearby. I ducked under them and a slate of rock, suspended above me, kept the rain from soaking me further.

With every step I took, the ground froze where my paws had been. The rain that fell from the sky froze upon impact with my pelt, and fell to the ground. The ground became sad and cold as I passed. My ice-blue eyes swept the land, finally sticking to a deep brow wolf by the ruins. "Hmm..." I hummed as I debated on going near her. I wasn't much of a people person but I did was to see the land. I decided to take a chance and go over there. I wasn't going to talk to her, but I would go over there. She seemed to enjoy the rain. Then I saw her come down from the rooftops. Giant platforms of rock ascended from the ground as she came from the rooftops. Earth wolf. I slowed my pace as I began to reach the old ruins. The raindrops continued to freeze as they touched me. My blue highlights stood out with the rest of my white pelt. I bought a one way ticket, Cause I knew I'd never see the ground, Unless I was aboard a jet plane, And we were going down The air chilled somewhat as the rain began to pick up. I reached the ruins, and walked under a large over-hang. I decided I would stay here until the morning, and then continue my trek to find a mate. I only wanted a mate so that I could have land. I glanced at the earth wolf and waited. Would she say something to me? Was she waiting for me to say something to her? I didn't know.

Maya
Something changed in the air as I approached the blueberry patch. I felt the chill. I wasn't new to understanding the differences in wolves, however, so I had a pretty good idea as to what was about to happen. As I ducked under the blueberry patch, I spotted the change. Someone else was here. An ice wolf, to be specific. I noted the blue highlights in her white pelt. Even her eyes were a crystal blue. I didn't approach her at first. She was a stranger and, though II could easily defend myself, I didn't want to start a fight. But then, something to do didn't exactly sound like a bad idea...
I stood up from the patch of fresh blueberries, and glanced up at the slate of protective stone above me. I glanced at a spot on the ground and made the rock speed over to the spot, Just before it crashed into the ground, the surface of the earth opened and the rock went inside. The storm had slowed, and was only a trickle now. That was fast... I thought to myself. With one thought, the ground beneath me rose and I was floating on a round piece of rock and dirt. I flew over to where the other wolf was, jumped off the slab, and let fall into the ground like the first one. "Hey," I said through gleaming white teeth, my outgoing personality shining through. I looked up at the overhang that shielded us from the sprinkle of rain. I trotted over to the other side and breathed in the smell of it. "Spring showers..." I muttered to myself.

`` Savvy Savvy walked slowly as he watched the two females from behind the trees. He had a strong hold over his powers so the ground beneath his feet hadn't frozen yet. He wanted to remain hidden before he made his entrance. He watched the ice wolf walk over and the earth wolf come boudning forward. Apparently she was social. Savvy noticed how beautiful they both looked. He wanted them both for his pack but he would settle for just one. He looked at the both and he sensed the cold air from the ice wolf. She was too cruel for Savvy. He would go with the earth wolf. She was beautiful. Savvy walked from behind the trees, his powers still in check so he didn't freeze the land he walked upon. He walked slowly, holding his head high. His silver coat shone brightly, even under the cloudly skies, and his azure markings stood out boldly. Each step he took brought him closer to the female he wanted and he walked with pride towards her. He had just claimed a land and now he was going to find himself a nice girl to get along with. He walked confidently and stopped infront of the female. Hello there fae. I was wandering these lands when I came across this beautiful she wolf. Do you wish to tell me her name? He ignored the cold ice wolf. She was supposed to be cold but she even looked it. If she wanted his attention she would have to get it, he was occupied. He smiled as he looked at the she wolf and admired her dark brown fur and how regally it sat upon her body.

I curled my lip as she moved over to me. Why was she talking to me? I made sure it didn't look like a threat, just an expression of disgust. She muttered something about 'spring showers'. I decided I should play nice. I mean, I just got here. Might be nice to know someone. I let my lip down. "Yeah," I muttered back. The rain slowed to a sprinkle, showing the delicate blueberries. My stomach growled slightly. Might be nice to get something to eat soon. I sighed. She probably wants me to make conversation. I racked my brain for something to say. "So are you new to this area?" Was the best I could come up with. My voice twinkled like a child's laughter. I let my tail down from it's perch on my back, letting it roll out behind me. A small curl still remained at the tip, like a hook. I imagined what it would be like to be an earth wolf. Control the elements, the rocks, the trees. It must be nice. The ground froze where I stood, cracking and chipping. The ground was slightly disturbed by the ice, but it would melt as soon as I stepped away.

Maya Can we pretend that airplanes In the night sky are like shooting stars?
I sensed something different as the ice wolf spoke. Someone else was near. I ignored it for the time being so I could focus on the female I was talking to. "I've been around here for a while. Not this specific area, but close." I smiled. I wasn't stupid. I could tell the wolf wasn't interested in talking to me. But why not just go with it? I was into playing roles, and for the time being, the idea of playing the dumb she-wolf sounded fun. The ice wolf smiled some. "I'm Maya by the way," I told her. She hadn't given me her name yet, but I was pretty sure why. She didn't want to encourage me. I grinned happily, enjoying this conversation more than I should.
The change, the new presence, become stronger. I turned in time to see a silver male strolling towards me. He wore a confident smile and his eyes were locked onto me. I smiled back, and glanced at the ice wolf. I was suddenly bored with the dumb facade. The male walked up to me and stopped, ignoring my company. His words were charming, and I gave a flirty smile as he asked for my name. "Maya," I said with a roll of my tongue. This was more fun than playing dumb. "And what might yours be?" I asked with another small smile. He was definitely an alpha.

``Savvy Savvy listened to the she wolf speak and he admired her name. Maya is a beautiful name. It suits you well fae. My name is Savvy. I am the Alpha of the Diamond Caves. I own such a large land yet I am so lonely. He looked at her and smiled, she was pretty and seemed nice. She was social as well. She was perfect, he would bring her home somehow. So I was wandering around, looking for pack members or an Alphess yet my search has been useless. None wish to live in a land of ice. He sighed and looked at her with his azure eyes. He wanted her to join. My land is beautiful with its shine and shimmers. It is nearly as beautiful as you. He walked around the fae slowly, moving the ice wolf gently out of the way. Rain gently touched my coat as it fell from the tree above me. I stood infront of Maya and sat down. I let my control over my powers loosen and soon the ground all around me was ice. My powers were amazing and quite powerful so I controlled them carefully. So Maya, are you with a pack or just with this female? He had to know because if he had to take both of them then he would, only if he really had to.

I rolled my eyes as the ice wolf paraded himself around Maya. I supposed I should leave them alone. Wouldn't want to get in the way if the ice wolf got lucky. "I'm going to leave you guys alone," I muttered. I flicked my tail, and trotted away, holding my head up. I couldn't believe the way that males acted. The acted like they could do anything. Get anyone. I shook my head. They disgusted me. I ran out of the field, leaving frozen footprints in my wake. I didn't need a male in my life. I was perfectly fine on my own. I kept other wolves away from me, and doing that kept me from having people know the real me. I was sick, really, by keeping myself secluded. And that earth wolf was really the only wolf I'd talked to in a while. And now, I'd lost her too. I let my tail fall to a more relaxed position, and my ears folded back. Well, this sucks.

``Savvy Savvy saw the ice wolf leave and his eyes were taken off of Maya. He should take both of them. He saw her run away, leaving ice as she went. A smirk developed on his face as he closed his eyes. He opened them and he let a sheet of ice form. Yet, the ice did not form along the ground. It formed a few feet infront of the ice fae and rose high into the sky, creating a barrier for her. Savvy walked over to her and looked at her carefully. I was hoping for you and Maya to help me with my lands. He stood before the fae, towering over her. He didn't want to control her, he just wanted her to come home to his pack so he could rule with an ice and earth creature. Surely you will come me to my home. Diamond Caves are mine and they can be yours as well. He was going to bother trying to flirt with her. She seemed stuck up and alone in the world. He looked at her body and smiled as he saw it was built the same as his. The choice is yours. He walked back over to Maya to continue his converstaion with her. He wanted her the most yet this ice fae interested him. He let the wall of ice stand as he sat infront of Maya.

Maya
Savvy complimented my name and I smiled. It sounded to me like he had not a single pack member yet, meaning no alphess either. What he said next proved my theory to be correct. He described his land and then said it was almost as beautiful as me. I blushed under my dark fur and looked at the ground. He was definitely charming. He asked if I had a pack, if I was with the female ice wolf, or alone. "I haven't yet found a pack...and I only just met this female," I said, looking at the ice wolf. The female rolled her eyes and then ran off, but Savvy stopped her. I sighed. So it wasn't just me he was interested in... I had noticed, however, that he offered her a place in the pack and then came back to me. "I will join you," I said, looking at the clouds. "But I must ask..." I looked back at him, "what rank you have in mind for me?" Sure, I could settle for just being in the pack. I hadn't been expecting to find one so soon anyway. However, Alpha Female Maya had a nice ring to it...right? At least to me, it did. I glanced at the other ice wolf. I was curious to see what she would do, but she seemed set on leaving.

``Savvy His eyes glistened with joy as he looked at Maya. A smile appeared on his muzzle before he bowed. Alphess Maya seems an appropriate title for a beautiful female like you. He gently nudged her side nicely and licked her shoulder. His eyes looked at the ice wolf but she seemed to want to leave. He let the ice wall fall as he stood beside Maya. She was now his Alphess. He now had someone to live with in his great home. Someone to survive with. My home is this way. He began to walk towards his lands with Maya at his side. Having both wolves would help him but Maya was who he wanted. Tell me about yourself Maya. He asked as he smiled at her, his blue eyes happy.

I smiled sweetly as he spoke of my being alphess. I was an alphess? I seriously just found a mate, a pack? I was excited with this news. He nudged my side and then licked my shoulder. I smiled back at him. I couldn't wait to see where I would be living. So when he pointed me toward his new home, I was eager to get going. We started walking towards his land. I shot one more glance toward the other female, and wondered when I might see her again. Then Savvy asked about me. "Well...I'm an earth wolf..." I wasn't sure if there was anything interesting about myself to tell. "My mom was a fire wolf...she sort of abandoned me when I was young. Apparently my dad was a jerk and left her when she found out she was pregnant. I'm the only pup that survived." That was basically my life story. I hadn't really done anything important. The sad history didn't bother me anymore, though.
OOC: I guess we can just go to his lands now?

OOC: I posted in his lands =] We will use his claiming post so that Maya has an idea of the land. I am making a map of his lands so that all his pack members have an idea of where everything is from prey to the caves. =] Hope you don't mind. The map should be posted in the lands by tomorrow night.
